Our client is Switzerland's pioneering and leading online shop for vapes and liquids, setting the industry standard since its inception. We've partnered with them for the past three years, contributing to their remarkable growth by enhancing their email marketing, social media presence, and overall strategy.
THE CHALLENGES
Managing Campaign Frequency: With a high volume of campaigns and promotions, we faced the challenge of ensuring we didn’t overwhelm individual subscribers with too many emails. Balancing the frequency of emails was crucial to maintaining engagement without causing email fatigue or prompting unsubscribes.
Unclean Customer Data: Our customer data, which included a significant number of non-active subscribers, had a direct impact on the overall effectiveness of our email marketing efforts. The urgency and importance of our role in regularly cleaning and updating the list to ensure we were targeting active and engaged customers cannot be overstated.

THE APPROACH
Building a Healthy Customer Data List: In our efforts to build a healthy customer data list, we've focused on regularly clearing and updating the list to maintain accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations. We strongly emphasize nurturing loyalty, especially among customers who have made 1 to 2 purchases. Additionally, loyal customers who have bought 5 times or more receive special treatment, enhancing their experience and strengthening their connection with the brand. This approach ensures we're fostering long-term relationships with our most valuable customers.
Personalized and Engaging Emails: We crafted email content that spoke directly to the recipient's preferences, past purchases, and browsing behaviour. Dynamic content and personalized recommendations were utilized to enhance engagement. We also experimented with interactive elements like Enter Now for Giveaways to encourage interaction and feedback.
Automated Email Sequences: Our implementation of automated email workflows, triggered by specific customer actions or milestones, has significantly improved our efficiency. Welcome emails, abandoned cart reminders, and post-purchase follow-ups are now sent out in a timely manner without the need for manual intervention. This has allowed us to focus on other aspects of our work, knowing that our customers are receiving relevant messages when they need them.
Creating Segmentation: We divided the email list into segments based on demographics, purchase history, engagement level, and other relevant criteria. Messaging and offers were tailored to each segment's specific interests and needs. Segmentation data was continuously analyzed to identify new opportunities for personalization and refinement.
EMAIL MARKETING
Our comprehensive email marketing strategy focused on driving customer loyalty and engagement through personalized, targeted campaigns. We implemented automated email workflows, optimized audience segmentation, and maintained clean, updated email lists.
